GENERAL COMMENTS:
It was a strong day for the livestock complex as all three of the markets
closed higher and the cash cattle market managed to trade $1.00 higher in the
South and steady in the North. Some more trade could develop on Friday, but
it's likely that the week's prices are set. December corn is down 2 1/2 cents
per bushel and December soybean meal is down $5.10. The Dow Jones Industrial
Average is down 57.88 points.
