DTN COMMENTS: Cash cattle country is very quiet at midday with bids and
asking prices still not established. Significant trade volume will likely
be delayed until Thursday or later.
Beef cutouts are mixed at midday (choice 370.72 -1.21, select 352.98
+0.41) with moderate to good box movement (79.27 lds of choice cuts,
16.15 lds of select cuts, 0.00 lds of trim, and 8.39 lds of ground). At
this time both live and feeder cattle futures are sharply to
significantly lower.

1-402-461-3561. All sales will be listed anonymously and organized by
state. All live sales are FOB and set for 1-9-day delivery. A weekly
summary from this data will be posted on the Weekly Cattle Sales Reported
to DTN page and will be left up for the entire week for reference
purposes.
